Summer Homework: Entry 1, The Monstrumologist

Entry One:
The book I choose to read for my Summer Homework is "The Monstrumologist" by Rick Yancey. The two major characters are Will Henry and Dr. Warthrop. They both desire many things but each desire one thing the most. For Will Henry this thing is to have his parents back having had both of them die in a fire. On the other hand Dr. Warthrop wants to be remembered and recognized for all of his work. Dr. Warthrop does his job in secrecy because that is what it requires, so he knows that he will waste his whole life to never be recognized for what he does.
The setting is New Jerusalem, America. Inside this city some of the main places they visit is The Old Cemetery, Motley Hill Sanatorium, and Dr. Warthrop's house. The conflict in this book is Dr. Warthrop and Will Henry versus the Anthropophagi, a mythical beast. Erasmus Grey first brings them the dead body of an Anthropophagi from a grave in the Old Cemetery. Dr. Warthrop, after examination realizes what it is and explains to Will. He also tells him how they are not native to America. HE also tells him that they need to go hunting and stop them from spreading, for they are dangerous to humans. I predict they may get more than they bargain for at the Old Cemetery.
