Setting
I have recently finished the books "Key of Minds" and "Steelheart" and am now moving on to the book "House of Hades" by Rick Riordan. I am about 100 pages into the book and the setting in the book has changed many many times. The book started at the Mediterranean Sea, with Hazel, Piper, Leo, Jason, and Percy's friends all trying to find the Doors of Death to retrieve them from Tartarus which leads me to my next setting. Percy and Annabeth, have recently fallen into Tartarus after injuring Arachne and are now wondering through the huge underworld trying to get out knowing that anything and everything in Tartarus will try and kill them. A major place in Tartarus so far is the River named Pyriphlegethon. the river of fire, which goes on throughout the whole underworld and that's when Percy and Annabeth decide to follow it to see if it leads to the doors. In the book you also can make a prediction of where they are going to House of Hades because one, the Doors of Death are located in there, two, Hecate tells them of their rivals waiting there, and three, it's in the books name itself. The setting moves from place to place so often that it is sometimes hard to remember where they are, having to go on many side quests to help them in the main one. I can't wait to see where this book leads me and to see what complications get in their way. My question is, if you came along them and they asked for help, what would you do?
I would help them because it seems that they do need alot of help to finish the big mission
ReplyDeleteI would help them because I want to claim fame by performing the noble deed of helping them.
ReplyDeleteI would try to help. However, considering the fact that I know almost nothing about this place and I have little fighting skills, I probably couldn't help them.
